The IRIS Hub Launch

The Institutes for Research, Innovation and Scholarship (The IRIS), a private Philippine organization that seeks to harness Philippine intellectual capital and resources for optimal collaboration in science, technology and innovation, launched the maiden issue of The IRIS Hub last July 12th at Richmonde Hotel in Mandaluyong City, highlighting the research productivity in the Natural Sciences of the top 15 Philippine universities. The IRIS is honoured at the launch by the presence and support of former DOST secretary Dr. William Padolina, former CHED Chairperson and University of the East President, Dr. Ester Garcia, DTI Asst. Secretary Rafaelita Aldaba, President of Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges and President of Batangas State U. Dr. Tirso Ronquillo, President of Bicol U., Dr. Arnulfo Mascarinas, President of Mariano Marcos State U. Dr. Shirley Agrupis as well VPs and Vice-Chancellors for Research of 30 private and public universities.
